Mike Teders has been a noteworthy leader in the food equipment industry for over 25 years.  You may know him for his work as Senior Vice President at AccuTemp Products, Inc., but Mike can also be credited with contributions to Sales Impact (Independent Rep), Three Rivers Equipment Company and Intek Manufacturing/Unified Brands.  Mike played a vital role in launching equipment manufacturer startup Intek Manufacturing, and performed as National Sales Manager to its eventual sale of Unified Brands in 2010.  Mike is known for his high business acumen, professionalism, trustworthiness and common sense approach to managing.  Mike is a firm believer of “If we don’t take care of the customer, somebody else will” and takes the extra step to make sure our customers are attended to.  Mike received an Executive Certification in Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame, Mendoza College of Business.  During his personal time he enjoys spending time with his wife, volunteering at their church and playing golf.

She started her career with a degree in accounting and business; she has 10 years as a controller before devoting her career over the last 10 years to sales and marketing. Mike joined AccuTemp Products in 2019 as our Customer Care Specialist. He is responsible for answering all customer questions/concerns regarding their company’s products, policies, and services. Mike is extremely proficient in relevant computer applications and is very proud to be a part of the AccuTemp Production Team. Mike is great at multitasking and has great interpersonal communication skills when communicating with his clients. Before working at AccuTemp, Mike was part of the United States Air Force / Indiana Air National Guard from 1989 to 1999 as a 7 Level Air Traffic Controller at Grissom AFB, Peru, IN. part of the Indiana 235th ATC Flight. He has done military tours in Honduras Central America, Panama Central America and Columbia South America. He has also travelled thru Europe, New Zealand and Australia. Kenny joined AccuTemp in 2007. He was professionally trained as a chef from Walnut Hill Culinary School. His culinary career started as the corporate line chef for Houlihan’s in Philadelphia and New Jersey. Kenny then moved to Florida to further his career as a sous chef with Tommy Bahamas Café. In 1999, Kenny moved to Fort Wayne, and has been the executive chef for The Oyster Bar, Opus 24, and Orchard Ridge Country Club. He won the People’s Choice Award for Best Chef of Fort Wayne in 2003 and 2004, and also won the Chefs on Stage competition in 2004. His culinary skills as well as his food service experience give him a unique perspective in our industry.

Director of Military Sales & Regulatory Compliance

Dean join AccuTemp in 2003 as VP, Engineering. After thirteen years of new product innovation, improvements and production releases by the Engineering team, he led several special Engineering projects for four years.  He moved into Sales in mid-year 2020 to his current role as Director of Military Sales & Regulatory Compliance.  He is charged with expanding the military segment to more US military vessels, galleys and kitchens, NATO allies, internal military bases and other maritime applications.  He continues to lead the Regulatory Compliance activities which include UL electric and gas safety, NSF sanitation, ENERGY STAR certification and ASTM F26 committee participation, which he has managed since coming to AccuTemp.  He has met with many customers of all sizes and going-to-market strategies, domestic and international, including many visits at the US Army Soldier Systems Center in Natick, MA and others visits at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Honolulu, HI and Naval Station Norfolk, Norfolk, VA.

Dean is a graduate of Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology with a BS in Mechanical Engineering.  At his first company, Magnavox Electronics Systems Company, he developed mechanical engineering design systems of battlefield communications equipment for the US Army during four years and submarine-locating sonobuoys for the US Navy during six years.  He moved on to Tokheim Corporation, the largest independent manufacturer of fuel dispensers in the world, for eight and a half years, spending two years in Caen (Normandy), France with his family at a French subsidiary.  His last position was Director of Engineering for their $120M US operating company.  He is married, has five children and four grandchildren.
